GameFly announced its Q Awards for 2006 last week and Gears of War won “Game of the Year.” The winners were chosen based on “nearly” 200,000 votes. While the overall winner came from Microsoft Game Studios, Nintendo took four of the ten categories (since four of the categories were based on Nintendo systems):
