Automated movie & video game rental company

Wednesday, January 10th, 2007

There is a new company out there called MovieBank that rents movies and video games via vending machines in various locations throughout the USA. Currently, they have locations in 11 states–here are articles talking about them opening locations in Reno, NV and Lewiston, ME.

It seems like you buy a membership card and then use that card to reserve movies/game at a specified location before picking them up, but I couldn’t figure out how to sign-up for the card. At $.99 for six hours, this could be a good deal if they can reach some sort of scale and make their website easier to use.
